On Sunday, August 20, 2023, the Administrators and students from Sera Town School District and the Hiroshima Kenjinkai had dinner at Gyotaku with CAS Dr. Rochelle Mahoe, Principal Laura Ahn, NVMS Coordinator Sean Uwaine, and SAC Maika Nagata. The NVMS staff were interviewed by students, they played trivia games, and then had an opportunity to “talk story”. Sera Town has been our sister school for many years. On Monday, our visitors spent the day at NVMS, attending our classes and participating in Hawaiian cultural activities. Tomorrow they will be hiking Diamond Head with Student Government students, Coordinator Sean Uwaine and Librarian Carla Hallin.
