On November 29, 2018, several Niu Valley students and guest high schools from all over the island went to the Japan-America Society of Hawaii and experienced a Japanese cultural exchange right here on the island.  They all were greeted by an authentic Taiko performance and taught the formalities of Taiko performance.  They also were taught famous Japanese traditions like Tea Ceremonies, Calligraphy, Kimono dressing, Bon dancing, and much more!  Cultural experience is important to explore to keep country relations with each other and to bond over cultural differences.
