It has been reported through the major news outlets that a 16 year old girl was abducted and assaulted yesterday, April 25, 2018, in Hawaii Kai by an armed male. The incident occurred on Mokuhano Street in Kalama Valley around 2:00pm. According to Hawaii News Now, “The male suspect was driving a white cargo van with heavily-tinted windows, put a gun to her head and assaulted her. The victim told HPD that she was able to escape after the van stopped. Anyone with tips or information, please call Crime Stoppers at 808-955-8300. Police are still searching for the suspect. Students should be aware of their surroundings and walk in pairs/groups if possible.
