You may have noticed this morning’s sign waving event to promote road safety. Mahalo to the HPD Officers who came out to support our school! A big Mahalo to the NVMS Leadership students for volunteering to come out to hold signs to remind drivers to drive safely! Also supporting this effort: Principal Sean Tajima, VP Marlyn Hutton, Counselor Maya Dougherty, Counselor Valerie Fujitani, and SAC Sean Uwaine. The message to our community: By practicing patience and cooperation, we can all get to our destinations safely. Drivers were driving with aloha, students were ready to exit their vehicles at curbside with minimum delays, and vehicles were cautiously re-entering Halemaumau Street. As we head into the hectic holiday season, please remember to give yourself ample time to get to where you want to go, and drive with Aloha!
