Students and Families:
Our yearly State Assessments are coming up this quarter. 8th graders will be testing in Science the week of April 24-28, 2023. Then all grades will be testing the week of May 1. These assessments help families see where their children are working, in the areas of Science, math, reading and writing. A snapshot glimpse on their progress. Here’s what you can do to be prepared for test day.
- Get a good night’s sleep, the night before test day.
- Eat a well balanced breakfast on test day.
- Bring your own corded earbuds.
- Get informed. Familiarize yourself with the test. Visit alohahsap.org and click “Students and Families” to take the practice test. Practice the different features available (e.g., highlighter, glossary, text to speech, calculator, etc).
- Be positive. Trying your best is enough. You will do fine.
