I would like to express my gratitude to the individuals and groups who supported the mural club. SAC Maika Nagata’s idea of a mural club sparked it all. Principal Laura Ahn allowed the students to express themselves by approving the exceptional design. The financial support for the paints and supplies was provided by FNV. Parents who showed their support by being there for their children, even when it meant picking them up at late hours. Teachers who encouraged their students when there wasn’t much on the wall. And a special mention to the custodians who were gracious with the mess created by the students on the walkways and asphalt.
