Two female NVMS students reported to their teacher that on Thursday, September 20, 2018, after school, they were approached by a man matching the description given on the local news the previous night, who was involved in an attempted kidnapping. They stated that he was wearing the same bright green shirt and the van matched the description as well. This occurred in front of the Niu Valley Shopping Center 7-Eleven store. As much as possible, please have your child walk with a friend, and remind them to inform a trusted adult should they be approached by an unfamiliar person.
