As previously posted, HPD has observed that those who are making the first left turn often creates a back-up of cars at auto line. We strongly request that drivers avoid making this first left turn and to continue to the next block to turn left. Making a left turn at this location can be difficult because of on coming traffic, pedestrians crossing, and poor visibility with the morning glare. We started holding up this reminder sign a few weeks ago and it has made a difference on the flow of the auto line traffic. We hope that everyone will continue to respect this request in order to help improve the flow of traffic and to help keep our students and community safe.
