Every week day our Niu Valley neighbors have to deal with morning and afternoon traffic as our students are dropped off or picked up from school. We have expressed our gratitude to our neighbors for their understanding having to deal with this daily inconvenience. We cannot control the traffic. However, you can control your behavior. In particular, the habit of blocking the driveways of our neighbors. First of all, although you are there for only a few minutes, you are still in violation of the law. We have asked our neighbors to please call 911 and get the description of the vehicle blocking their driveway.
When asked to move their car so that they could get out of their driveway, one parent responded, “What do you want me to do about it?” The neighbor was so startled by this rude response that they did not know what to say.
