FYI, due to the federal mandate offering free meals to all students nationwide, we are experiencing a shortage of food products from our local vendors, who in turn are having difficulty obtaining food products from their mainland vendors.  We as for your patience as we make adjustments through this process.

Also, although all students will be receiving ONE free breakfast and ONE free lunch daily, it DOES NOT include:

  • Second meals (both breakfast and lunch)
  • Milk only nor extra milk

Students attempting to make these purchases who do not have adequate funds in their accounts, will be refused service and we are obligated to dispose of these food items.

Students will be receiving temporary IDs on the first day of school to purchase meals until their permanent photo IDs cards are distributed.  Please be sure your child brings their ID to school everyday, especially if your child is a 6th grader who may not be used to carrying their ID.  It is a form of identification.  It will also make the cafeteria fun a little more quickly.  Otherwise, the cashiers will have to manually input their names which will take up unnecessary time.  This may be significant this year with the free meals possibly resulting in longer lines.

Students are welcome to come to my office to check their balances prior to making purchases of second meals and extra milk.  My office hours are 9:00am-1:00pm.
