In light of the holiday season, NVMS Leadership Class sponsored a family from Keiki O Ka Aina’s Laulima Project. We became aware of this program the day before Thanksgiving, and in ten days, SAC Maika Nagata was able to collect everything on their wish list including clothing and toys for Toddler boy, Keiki boy, and Keiki girl. Mom will be receiving gift cards from Times, Foodland, and Safeway Markets. Dad will be receiving a Texaco gas gift card and a propane grill and an electric portable stove. Thanks to the generous donations of the families from our Leadership class as well as our faculty and staff, this family will be receiving over $600.00 in gifts from Niu Valley Middle School this holiday season.
