On behalf of the NVMS ESports Club I would like to invite everyone to come support two of our teams that will be competing in this semester’s League of Legends championship. The event is happening this Sunday (April 30, 2023) at the HPU ESports Arena in the Aloha Tower Marketplace. The event place opens at 7:30am and the awards ceremony is planned to take place after 4:15pm. The League of Legends match schedule is as follows:
- Semi-Finals Match 1 – 8:30am
- Semi-Finals Match 2 – 10:15am
- Finals Match – 12:00pm
Each match is 5 vs 5 players in a best of 3 games format with games lasting between 30 minutes to sometimes over an hour. The length of a game is heavily dependent on the skill level of the players and the difference in skill level between the competing teams. You don’t need to come for the whole event, any amount of time you can spend to cheer on our students will definitely make their day. Event is Free, there is a charge for parking.
