Benefits to getting involved with the Friends of Niu Valley: Our monthly online meetings are attended by our Principal, our Student Activities Coordinator, a teacher liaison, and PCNC. When parents are actively involved during the middle school years, communication with teachers and administrators tends to improve. This partnership allows for early intervention when issues arise, ensuring that students receive the necessary support both at home and in school. Although parent involvement may naturally decrease during the middle school years as students seek more independence, finding the right balance of support and autonomy can lead to more positive outcomes.
