Our fraction summative project this year was a recipe book again and our kiddos did great. We would like to share our published cookbook with you! Thank you to everyone who supported along the way!
As a 6th grade we also decided to partner with Food Bank Hawaii again and create our own fundraiser to help provide meals for those in need. Our goal as a 6th grade is that each student donate one dollar. Everyone is welcome to donate more but we calculated that each student donating one dollar would equal approximately 600 meals! Our overall goal is to fundraise $1000 as that could potentially provide 2000 meals.
We had a great time with this summative, coming up with recipes, sharing recipes and even sharing food with each other.
