  • When:  Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 9:00am-11:00am
  • What:  3Rs School Recycling Drives are coordinated by Kokua Hawaii Foundation as part of the 3Rs School Program and are made possible through partnership with Schnitzer Steel Industries and support from local partners including T&N Computer Recycling, Pacific Biodiesel, Reynolds Recycling, Goodwill Hawaii and Hawaiian Hope.
  • Why:  3Rs Drives provide schools and communities with the opportunity to divert and reuse a variety of items, with host schools receiving proceeds from selected materials.

Selected Items Include:  A variety of scrap metal, old and repairable electronics (no batteries), household goods in resellable condition (no toddler & baby items or furniture), used household cooking oil (2 gallons residential oil per vehicle only), HI-5 bottles & cans, and documents for shredding (2 boxes per vehicle).

Please note:

  • Residential materials ONLY – no commercial or government drop offs.
  • Limits on amounts per vehicle and items.
  • Material is accepted up to the discretion of the donation attendant.
